If anyone else ever peeks now and then into Fine Scale Modelings forums ( I do but only post there now and then) Then you know their forums have undergone a complete revamp to a much different looking site.

To me the new formant seems a little like another site.. maybe Armorama?

but then again how many ways are there to run an efficent forum...

Many of us hang out at both places. FSM's forums are geared towards beginners. Over there, the questions run along the lines of "What is PE?"

LOL.

When I returned to the hobby about 2 years ago I was on that forum all the time asking questions just like that. Over time I have switched to this site as my skills returned.

I still use it now and then but most of my on-line model time is spent here.

Don't get me wrong, it is a great entry level site, much like the magazine is a great entry level modeling magazine geared towards all genres.

But most readers eventually graduate to a more serious armor modeling magazine like Military Miniatures in Review and most users will eventually move on to a more serious site like this one or Missing Links.

Great,I found a conection between french tv and modeling. Funny because the thing with french quebec tv shows is that they copy all the popular english ones. Canadian idol( or American idol) has a version of its own called "star academy". So on and so on.

Delbert, they do look awfull similar but nothing beet authentisity.

yeah there are tons of templates you can apply on the forums these day without needing to redesign it from scratch. I have to say though that armorama's look and feel is one of the more unique ones that i have seen. Like the ability to view a certain forum based on the country settings in your profile to name a few.
