After the killer storm in Southern Indiana Sunday I am almost ready for snow. The weather here has been very strange and frankly, scary. We had another tornado warning last night and the sirens went off about 9 pm. I can deal with this stuff in the spring but it is unusual in the fall. It is 68 degrees now and we are supposed to have frost tonight, which means more storms will probably develop.

Shaun

Shaun, my friend, tornados scare the crap out of me. I could not live in a state where there is a great chance one of those could decided to drop down on my house.
Weather in the north east has been sort of weird too. I mean it is almost middle of November and I had on shorts yesterday while doing some yard work.
Seems like winter may be starting later this year. Does this mean that we will get slammed with so much snow that will be digging ourselves out until Easter or will we still have snow on the ground in May?

Monday here in Buffalo we were under a tornado watch and tonight we just got through with a tornado warning. We had reports of one touching down about 20 mins. south of us heading in the direction of Matt Leese. We broke a record rain fall and it rained, lighting and thunder all day, the storms have caused power outages through out the area.
