A while back I posted some pictures of my new puppy, Duke. He was small, cute and adorable. Well, he's not too small any more, he's growing to be a good looking dog, but he's no longer adoarable.

Last night I was working on my Italeri hard top Duce and a half truck. I've wanted this kit for over a year now and I was overjoyed to hear they had re-issued it. I picked it up for half price at a model show last month. I've been working on it for about six hours. I'd gotten the entire frame and suspension done and was letting it dry before moving on. While fixing dinner for the family I kept leaving the room and apparently left the door open. Duke decided to have a snack.

My theory is he was atracted to the liquid cement I use. It's non toxic and has a sweet fruity smell to it. He probably thought it was some kind of candy bar.

So now I've got a whole lot of pieces for the spares box.

In case you're wondering Duke still lives, I just have to be very, very careful. I hope it's not going to be a case of him getting to like the taste of raw plastic. I just have to keep telling myseld, "He's only a puppy, he's only a puppy."

It looksd like Duke is in the dog house. All I can say is when I am in the "dumps" I hug a puppy.

That sucks man, but I feel your pain. My cat has claimed more than a few models, including an all photo etch tri plane.
