Hi All, I was wondering just how many of the UK section are going to attend Scale Model world at Telford and support the club stand , either by helping to run it or placing models on it . I cannot help out as I will be manning my own stand Armour Tas but I will loan some models for the stand. cheers ian

I am hoping to get there for the Saturday, I really am not sure about showing anything as being a newbie I only have my first three models completed. I'm hoping to have a KV-2 and a M3 A1 ready by then but they are already way overdue (anyone else find starting a build easier than finishing?!?). I'm also coming from Portsmouth on the day so probably won't make it before 10. I'd like to view as much as possible but don't mind helping staff the stand for an hour, or help out at the end if anything needs doing.
If anyone else is coming from the Petersfield Hampshire area I'm all up for sharing a ride.

Hi Ian
I'm afraid I won't be able to make it. I thought there might be a chance, although the journey for me by train would be ridiculous, but now it looks like I'll be away working on a TV shoot that weekend anyway - so that's me out for another year. LOL!
Have a great time everyone.
All the best

I'll be there on the Sunday with my daughter. Not sure how I'm getting there yet though, but I'll probably end up driving as the coach and trains take forever :-).

hey jon! if you get stuck behind a battered blue mondeo estate with a hole in the front bumper, and a driver who is changing lanes late, slowing down, then speeding up, whilst trying to read a map, dont get too mad cos that'll be me!

Oh dear...
Your non-attendance was much lamented, as meeting you in the flesh would have been much appreciated.
But I think we all understand, and there will be another show, another day, and we will see you there...

Cheers Henk,
I am just gutted. She knew how bad I wanted to go...she admits feeling guilty though
surely I'm not the only opressed male builder round these parts ?

We are not neccessarily oppressed, just males in "need of guidance" from our better halves.
