To coin a phrase ....... Owwwwwwww!!!!! I'll not be making much more progress on my HMS Nelson etc then. I have just hit my fingers with a 4lb lump hammer. They are rather painful, an odd colour and quite a strange shape. Bugger! It hurt rather a lot too..... I only get leave to do modelling and this time decided to build a path as well. Well the path put paid to the modelling, that'll teach me. #:-) #:-) #:-)

Ouch,

That will teach you to use your leave for such trivial things as DIY :-) :-)

as long as you still have a good pint holding hand it shouldnt be that bad!

Hi...
I know exactly how you feel Shaun, having just done nearly two months hard labour of the DIY kind.
I was lucky...I didn't do too much damage...only a blackened thumbr thanks to a dreaded lump hammer.

And Joe's right...as long as you can grasp a glass of liquid pain killer you should soon get over it.
Wishing you a speedy recovery....the expense of HMS Nelson in dry dock could be big though ...well not as much as the pain killer bill....slurp.

Cheers
Peter

Ouch! That must hurt! Any chance of posting some pics of your grossly deformed digits? That way we can sympathise more, or at least get a laugh out of your suffering........
