Heh....Getting picked up by you two is almost scary.... at least you didn't mention getting dressed up in a tamiya box..:-)

I live like 10 minutes away from Runnemede, and go to the modelfest shows they hold in the same holiday inn. Hopefully (probably) this show will be better then them. The "contest" they had two years ago had 1-2 people ccompeting in each category, so in effect you ended up competing with yourself.

What time do models that are being judged have to be there?

Do you need to be from the NJ club to enter a model? Do you even have to be from the state?
I'm driving down from northeastern Pa with my dad for the show. He's originally from NJ and said he didn't mind taking a day off from work. I was thinking of entering the juniors section with my first dio.

No. You could enter a model, even if you were from pluto. Think twice about entering in junior, if you enter there, you cannot enter anywhere else.

Finished shminished, who cares? Bring it anyway. Remember, a model is never finished, it is only abandoned!

And besides, I wana see it!

Well, a good time was had by all at New Jersey's Amps Show.... at least we Armorama members had a great time.

Pictured from left to right is SEDimmick, a very nice and polite young man. Next is airwarrior- David Niescior, a fine young modeler. Myself, a loud and obnoxious senile old-man, and of course Pvt Parts- John Fortier.

Dave won 2 silver, and John won a bronze. I made more enemies, didn't influence anyone, but had a hell of a good time seeing people I haven't seen in quite a few years. (I also spent way too much money, but picked up a great resin kit--- C.G.M.'s Dodge WC40)

Hopefully this Amps Chapter's show will continue to grow.

As soon as I can process the photos, I'll be making a gallery.

There were a few other members there, but they were busy doing club/show type work....

Fun it was..and that includes being Daves nurse maid. David , it was a pleasure meeting you. You are a fine young gentleman and one heck of a fine modeller.
