G'day to all
Wayne from Australia wanting to introduce myself and hopefully get to some of you through an obvious love/interest in modelling.
I have recently just returned to the world of 1/35 military models after some 15 years of not handling a tube of glue. My passion in recreating scenes sent me searching for resources and found this site.
In all honesty when i first saw the site and quality of work I must admit i felt a bit intimidated and scared. It was not till this morning reading an article that was posted by a newcomer did i know this group would be what i really wanted. It was the constructive comments by the members to the Newbie that showed me it was a place to improve ones talents and not be harshly judged.
I am sure I will be asking many questions to the group as time goes on and look forward to diplaying some of my work in the future.

This site has helped me immensely in improving my modelling technique.
If im not modelling or spending time infront of the computer, its all rugby...especially with the coming northern hemisphere tour.

Ciao madboof,
Welcome to the big "A," and don't worry about measuring up to these guys. They have lots of talent, but they are always willing to lend a helping hand (or eye) to any project. All of us have raised our game thanks to them.

Welcome to the site.. when I started building a few years ago I felt the same way... and tired several different forums out but this is the one where I stay because everyones work is judged on its own merits.. no matter what their level of skill.

A big g'day Wayne.Madboof...only an Aussie could come up with that name!!I joined up a little before you did mate and it's one of the best things i have done in a long time.I have learnt so much from everyone who has posted here on the big A.It beats forking out money on buying books and magazines that cost more than the kits themselves!Best of luck here mate..that reminds me,an old mate of mine up in Queensland had a dog called boof.Sometimes it was hard to tell which one from the two was the boof! :-) :-)
Cheers digger,Shay
