i spilt a bottle of paint thinner in my room and i cleaned it up and closed the door but left a window wide open for 2 days. It still smells bad in there. is it safe to go in or what?

Donīt be in there if you donīt need too, but I donīt think itīs that dangerous. Just remember to go out if youīre starting feeling bad or getting headache or something.

Been there. Dun that.

Rule of thumb--if you can smell it, you are getting to great an exposure.

Of course, I grew up breathing mists of mineral spirits and Floquil Dio-Sol, and it shacn't huret mes anygi at al,ml . dO yUo no whstdcs i meen?

The real question is what did you use to clean it.

I would soak it up nicely with lotsa water and all the relevant carpet cleaning stuff if it was spilled on the carpet before trying to blow dry it with a hair dryer to speed up the process.
