Darryl:

Are you the OPP officer who gave me that wreckless driving ticket on the 400 last year?

Dave,

We normally bring out our built kits, or the ones we have in progress and some of us also bring out kits we have just bought. We do an around the table show and tell. Like I said all are welcome and its a relaxed time.

I went back and looked to see if the prices have gone up all that much. Starting in 2003 (when I found armorama and MH)
the Tamyia 6lbr was 11.95, now 14.99
tamyia 251 19.95 now 23.99
25lbr 15.95 now 24.99
quad 14.95 now 24.99
tamyia churchill 39.99 now 47.99
Thes prices were off my first few orders, funny but Dragon figures were all 11.95 and now they are down to 9.95 for most of them. Maybe it depends on the manufacturer, exchange rates etc? it sure seems like the tamyia stuff jumped alot but those are the only kits I can accurately compare. Does anyone else have old bills around with prices from 2-3 years ago for Dragon, Italeri etc? Kind of interested to see.

Hi Tapper: Before the merge they were always pretty good about keeping that the in stock info up to date. if the website said it was there, it was! And I notice now, most things are classified as usually ship in 3-4 days. Used to be it was in stock, or not in stock! I went through my detailed files and I only had to wait more than 2 weeks on 1order out of 12, over a space of 3 years. Doesn't sound like things are running that smoothly lately. Hopefully, they will get things more up to date and running better.

I check Military Hobbies website every day or so and have quickly come to realize that my local hobby store "Ideal Hobbies" is now much cheaper to buy my Dragon kits from. On average they are $5 or moreless a kit than at MH. The only thing is that IH's stock of armour kits is hit and miss.

I agree Darryl. Ideal Hobbies in the last while has had some great deals compared to MH in regards to prices. However Ideal Hobbies is first and foremost a RC shop with the plastic kits an afterthought it seems. Its really to bad because I would spend alot more money there if they had a better selection of armour.
