Hi Guys..

Here are some pictures of Academy's M997 Maxi-Ambulance that I built for the Medics Campaign... no weathering on yet.

Comments appreciated..

Apologies for the rather "dark & blur" photos..
Cheers..

Nice even without weathering. But why is the decal on the side only partial? Is it on purpose?

Thanks guys... really appreciate your thoughts... it helps spurs me on to build better models... haha...

This Academy kit has some fitting problems... with a bit of putty, it should fit perfect. Eerie... go ahead and get one.

As for the decals, I accidently tore them while applying (I think Academy decals are rather "difficult to handle"). But I realized it could be also a form of "weathering". So I'm rather satisfied with the result.

Where did you get the 'grass patch' ?

Hi Danny... thanks for the comment. The grass patch is cut off a grass mat. Those cheapo kind where you get in one roll. Draw the shape of the base on the underside of the mat, cut it out, super glue it on.

I see you painted the "red cross" on to the vehicle.

Nice one JM. Dude you got to show off the interior a little more. More photos please!

Are you also going for the clean look or is the weathering still to come? I figured since the decal was ripped, weathering on the tyres and chasis would make it look nicer....just my 0.02.

Great job once again.

Thanks Jazza!

I'll try to take more photos... but I cannot guarantee it'll be anytime soon.

As for weathering, I always have the temptation to keep it clean. Maybe a little dust.
