Hey All:
Looking around at how to apply zimmerit and came across a few sites that recommend the tamiya zimmerit applicator. What do people around here think of that set? What do you use?
Thanks

Brian,
Another applicator in the market with good reviews is the Gum Ka brand applicator.

The AFV Doe is good. Has 2 different rollers and both ends of the stick is also patterened for areas you can't reach with the wheel. I have 2 left if you are interested email me at [email protected]

I work with the AFV-Club Doe as well, and I must say I'm very pleased with it.
What's important also...it's easy to clean afterwards!
Just my two cents, John.

First off, I have to admit that I have never done a zimmereit application on a model yet. But I have a Tiger I mid, and I have been looking for the best ways to apply it. I found a great way. I apologize for not knowing the website but, the guy who did the zimmereit used a peice of styrene cut to fit into the tip of a exacto knife handle. he cut the styrene to the perfect size for the zimmereit application, and not only was the tip the perfect size, he sanded the tip to an edge so it would not "squash out" like it does with a flat blade scew driver. I thought this model was the best one I had ever seen with zimmereit. After seeing it I decided to skip the expensive Photo-etch, and go the apply your own with milliput route.
