I have already sprayed base coat on my model, after reading numerous posting about
filtering with oil paints works best on semi-gloss surface, I went to the Safeway and
got myself a bottle of Johnson Future.

I would like to spray this on my model but I have reservation if I load it
into my air-brush, will it clogged and damage my air-brush ? ( It would be a
very depressing and costly if I were to damaged my air brush and
model after all the effort)

Has any one try this out ? Do I need to "thin" the Johnson Future
solution down and what do you do it with ? After air-brusinging , can the
normal thinner from the hardware store clean the air-brush ?

Another alternative is to use the gloss from Taimya....but that is costly compare
to Johnson Future....

Any other recommendation ?

I was in a similar situation as you are a few months ago.....until one day I gave it a go on an old kit and it is all clear now!

No, you don't need to dilute the Future. It is water based and not a wax. You don't need thinner. I cleaned the air brush with water, then ammonia based window cleaner, then water again.

Trying to make the most of the window cleaner, I just sprayed it out of the air brush on to the windows. It is a very complicated window cleaning operation but my better half cannot accuse me of not doing any house keeping anymore.

I've been brushing straight future on paint. After drying I can apply decals directly to that surface. Then I'm sealing with an acrylic flat coat that I air brush on.

I like this because I only put the future where I want the decals.
