I am not  British.  What does NAAFI mean?  I have seen it a lot but have never seen it defined.  Also how about VAT?  Just curious............................

NAAFI stands for (i think) Navy, Army, Air Force Institute,
VAT is Value Added Tax ( another way for the government to rob us blind.)

VAT - Value Added Tax. It is a tax on the final consumption of certain goods and services.
NAAFI - Navy Army Air Force Institutes is the official trading organization of HM forces
