Fine Scale Modeler has an editor survey asking which kit you would like to see built that currently is not in production. They do not want any reissue, accessories, decals, or aftermarket sets in the survey. They only want kits that have never been produced in a specific scale or version. Also they want specific information including scale, version, options, etc. The survey will be up for one month.
Not knowing much about kits, I only have 2 that I would like to see. 1st would be a 1/35 M3A3 (edit - Bradley that is, not the WWII M3) with complete interior. 2nd would be the new stryker that is suppose to go into service next year in 1/35 also with options for all of the weapon variants (from what I heard on roll call, that is only .50 cal and 40mm grenade launcher).
So what is your choice for the list? By the way, you can vote by going to the link below. It says you get to it by clicking on announcements in the magazine, but when I went there I found a link to the survey on the home page.

The only thing that comes to my mind is a Staghound with 37mm turret.

I'll second Andrew's vote for a stryker in 1:35.
My other choices (in order of most wanted)
3: All Terrain Tactical Enforcer (AT-TE) 1/35
2: Republic Attack gunship 1/35
1: Rebel Blockade Runner (don't know what scale, but make it big! )

I would like to see an Italian L3 (aka CV33, CV35, CV38) in regular plastic. Criel makes them in resin, but they are expensive. Could I still vote for it?

There's a lot of things that I would like to see done, but I guess the thing at the top of my list would be a 1/35 French Char B1 bis.

Perhaps some of the Hobart "Funnies"
The Sherman Crab, Flail, DD-Tank. All, except the DD I believe are available thru aftermarket add-ons, but not as a complete kit. (Are you reading this DML/Dragon!!!)
The US Locust airborne tank?

I believe that the DD is available through Resicast.

I don't believe this has been offered before, but my wish would be for a 1/35th M103 Heavy Tank with diesel engine, (the Marine version, I believe).

I agree with this, along with either of them redoing the M-3 Lee.

I'd like some Soviet support elements, artillery and engineering stuff.
All in 1/35:
2S5 Giatsint
2S7 Peon
BAT-2
BREM-1 ARRV
IMR
MDK-2
MT-55 AVLB
SU-310
SU-410
TOS-1
Also a 1/48 E-2 Hawkeye would be sweet.
Cheers,
Linz

I'd like to see more French armor in 1/35 ... Char B1 bis (as already mentioned), D2, R35/39, and maybe some of the guns, like the venerable '75, the 25mm door knocker.
I'd also like to see more accessory sets, like the old lamppost/sign set Tamiya has
out. Have it contain a typical, generic peasant cart, milk canisters, farm implements
like a pitchfork and a shovel, metal and wooden buckets, that kind of stuff.
I guess since we're wishing (you know what they say about wishing) I'd also like to
see some civilian cars in simple kit form. Something you can either have in the
ditch, burned out, or running, whatever.
Well, those are my wishes, anyway.

I don't want anything special just a 1/24 or 1/32 scale Grumman F4F-3/3A Wildcat or F2-A3 Brewster Buffalo. I can always dream can't I! #:-)

Sherman M4A2 -- both early and late versions.
I'd also like a Duplex Drive in an injection-molded kit.

1/35th PACV Hovercraft
1/35th new molding technology, new tool, Centurion by Tamiya with loads of IDF variant parts included.
1/35th IDF T55-hull based APC ( can't spell aster-schlitz...)
1/35th Sdkfz251 Falke/Uhu from Tamiya. In my mind the kit comes with the searchlight parts AND the APC drivers/gunners IR parts, so all you have to buy is another vanilla 251 to do the Falke.
1/35 DPV/FAV better than any of the crummy resin versions out there now.
1/35th T72-based BMT (?).. that funky Urban assault vehicle on the T-72 chassis.
And Trumpeter to do a competent job on the HInd, Skif to stay in buisness long enough to do a good Tunguska, and for Panda to fix their UH1D's so they are actually D's and not N's like Heli-kit News reports

I put my 2 cents into that survey for 1/35th-1/9th scale USAF special ops figures: PJs, CTTs, STS figures etc. And I asked Santa for a 1/35th sclae MH-53J too.
Good Call on the MC-130 above....
