Yahoo....!!!!!...YAHOO....!!!!!! Ajustment of status went through
Hi Guys had my final interview today wont have to fill another form out for 2 years nor write another cheque ...oh the models .
They also stamped my Passport so that i can return to the uk if i had an emergency my dad 80 years old and my boys.
The guy was really nice got him talking about my hobby ...and that was it.
Bottle of Campas tonight blew a tyre on the way back from the interview in Philly but who gives c---p.
When i visit the uk god am i going to bring back my stash of figs bought over 20 odd years YAHOO.
Just thought i would share my news with you guys.... yippitty do da yippitty yeah.

Well Chris congratulations, and welcome to the lovely if not frustrating joys of being a "citizen". Taxes, and screwy eletions are only part of the package. Anyhow I hope that you like it here and can return home to see your family from time to time.

Hi all

Thanks very much for the great posts yea i have been doing my bit for the US tax department lol lol lol they gave me a temp work permit ...last December.
Thinking of going back into the Police ..well the local Police Dept here in Newark Delaware of Newcastle County.
Been keeping my self fit still do my 4 mile run every day when i can fit it in, still feel pretty fit at 47 so there still life in the old dog yet and its nice to know that over here they dont write you off at over 40 for the police lol lol ...can still give some of the youngsters a run for their money .

Congratulations Chris. My "mum" went through this about fifty years ago. I don't know if she had to jump through all the hoops you might be going through. I know she never regreted doing it. I also know that at that time she didn't have to give up her British citzenship. When she traveled back to the UK with my brother, and unknowingly carrying me, she was listed as a British subject traveling with friendly alien.
