I was just "browsing along" looking for information on how to paint rust when I ended up on this site and I just had to join.
I started to build plastic models when I was around 10 or so but some year’s later cars and girls put a stop to it. About 10-15 years ago I started to build and fly RC-aircraft and since my interest has always been WW2 fighters I had to build and fly a Mustang and a Spitfire. I started to pick up the smaller scale, 1/48, airplane kits to use as a reference for paining, detailing, panel lines etc. So, I'm back in small scale modelling but not only fighters this time, I will try to expand to armour and especially dioramas. After looking around on this site I know that this is the place to learn the “tricks of the trade”, get help whenever needed and above all get inspiration for new projects.
See you around!
Mikael
