thanks fellas armorama family and mojimbo for all your pray and thoughts...

my son condition is improving and he's was discharge from the ICU last saturday but have to stay in the regular ward...

he was in the ICU since last sunday due to seizures and later the doctor found out that he has some bleeding in the brain from the CT Scan.. then my son was transfered to Kuala Lumpur Hospital and was immidietly admitted to ICU. I was still shocked and that time and was wondering what is really goin on... but there's nothing u can do at 2pm in the ICU.. i was told that my baby is ok and i have to wait for tomorrow morning when the specialist came. The next day the neurospecialist told me that my son have a slight bleeding in his left brain but they wont open the brain as the bleeding was so little and it will cured itself in time. So much for a happy news that morning. My son was incubated and later that afternoon the doctors slowly excubated him but he have a number of seizures... and had to be incubated again... end of good news that monday
the next day the neurosurgeon perform another CT Scan and told me that they have to get in my son brain to get the blot out. I was so shocked but can do nothing expect to pray and sign the permission form. my son was taken to the OT at 6.30 pm . All relatives, families and friend gathred at the hospital to give support. at 10.15 pm he was out from the OT.. nothing much i can do...then the surgeon came and see me..told me the ops went well... he managed to get 80-90% of the blot out od my son brain...
the docs told me to let my son rest and he will be incubated for another 2 days

when he woke up last thursday , in seems like everything is ok..the doc also told me he's in good condition and will be excubated ... that a good news so far

the next fews days was also good and bring me back my happiness........ he's improving fast..
and when mojimbo told me that i won costas' free kit that another good news to hear.........

it's such an experience ... during the 6 days in the ICU , i witness 2 babies died... the second case was simillar to my son case....dead 2 hrs after admitted to ICU...
this experience make me think again about life and what god have created the children...
so pls treasure our children........

what a long day... the last week i was in the hospital ... when i look back it seems like it just happen yesterday...
now i'm back at the office...i have many urgent things to be donw before being transfer to another division next month.. and now my wife stay at the hospitals with my son....

many thanks again to you all... i almost shed tears reading this thread.....

Silantra,

good to hear things are getting better... I have no personal experience, but as my dad is a paediatrican I have heared some of the stories.. and some of the things he witnessed as a doc have left their marks...

Anyway, I hope he will make a 100% recovery and will be one happy Silantra jr again.

This is MEBM's mother:
The Baby and Family will be added to our prayer list. We certainly understand; you see, 17 & 1/2 years ago, Matthew (MEBM) was born two weeks early, weighing only 3 pounds. He was reasonably healthy, but was still in the intensive care nursery for 11 days. I've never prayed so much in my life. God answers prayers, and he knows the right thing to do. God answered our prayers, and we'll pray that he'll answer yours. God is with you.

I followed this topic on these past days, but till now I couldn't write anything, I didn' know how to write. I'm going to be a father for the first time 2 months later. I tried to understand what Silantra is feeling. I couldn't imagine how bad were those days for him.
As the good news have arrived, now it is much more easy to find the words to write here.
Silantra, me and my wife, we wish you and your family all the healthiness and happiness. The little Silantra is in our prayers.
