Ok, we did WWII and Veitnam, now lets see whats out there for modern.
Heres my picks:
Of course Nmber 1is and will probably be for a life time is "BLACK HAWK DOW!!!!!!!!"
2nd would be "Three Kings."
Tied for 3rd is "Courage Under Fire" and "Rules of Engagement."
There are lots of others too.

Without a doubt, Black Hawk Down
They should have put that much action in Saving Private Ryan

I don't know...yet, I need to see BHD! I'm sure it will top the chart with all I've heard.

But hey, what happened to "Favorite Korean War" flick?? Battle Circus, The Bridges at Toko-Ri, Men of the Fighting Lady, Retreat, Hell!, MacArthur, and Steel Helmet,...M*A*S*H...Pork Chop Hill??
Who could forget Battle Circus with Humphrey as a boozed-out surgeon??

definitely NOT any of the Delta Force movies....are those awful or what? I still need to see Black Hawk Down and Behind Enemy lines to answer this question. I have heard that BHD is just as good as Pvt. Ryan.....I definitely need to see it to beleive it

Who here would have loved a movie of "Team Yankee"? Harold Coyle had been a company commander of my company in my battalion (5-77 AR) and his book basically read like our operational plans had the battalion gone to war. I only disliked the fact that the second platoon leader kept getting whacked since I was the second platoon leader at the time.

It doesn't really fit into this list, but I remember I was impressed with the hardware that was involved in taming the monser ants in "THEM" when I was a child... Though nothing compared to the efforts to exterminate Mrs Godzilla and offspring in the latest movie version, I remember those unforgiving firethrowers ... !
