Ciao everyone,
You know (all with the weather channel will get this) it's a bad thing when you have Jim Cantore, of the weather channel) reporting from your city!
Well, here we go again. First off, my wife and daughters have left for the west, so they are safe. Second, I would like to send my thoughts and best wishes to anyone who might have, or will, experience this potentially nasty hurricane. Third, after what Cuba did for us (making Dennis into a Cat 1 from a Cat 4) we should immediately lift the embargo!
I sit in my cave of a house (all boarded up) and write you this final message. I will be going to work with a loaded pistol, foul weather gear and the intent of finding the strongest building on NAS Pensacola. I will be at work, so I'm riding this one out about 100 yards from ground zero. Wish me luck, and to anyone in the path, I wish the same.
Talk to you all when the power comes back on.
Ciao for now
Rob

Good luck, Rob. Pensacola, huh... my dad is actually on his way down to Penscola right now to help with reconstruction efforts (works for Belfour, a fire / flood / weather rebuilding and restoration company). If you see a guy wearing a Belfour shirt with a moustache next to a white utility van, that will be him. His name's Terry if you do see him. Keep your head down and stay safe.

Hi Rob and everyone effected by Hurricane Dennis
Watching the news in London, my thoughts are with you facing this one. Compared with the worst Man can do, the power of Nature dwarfs everything...
Keep safe

I live in michigan and according to the Weather Channel the predicted path of Dennis will actually reach me!! Of course I won't get the same pounding that FL will get but I will get strong winds and heavy rains for a few days.
That must be one helluva storm. Stay safe everyone wherever you are

While it is nice to see my surname immortalised by the US weather service, I would like to say that I hope everyone in the path of Hurricane Dennis comes thru safe and well. My thought's and prayers are with you all.
