As I am going on vacation to the greek island this autumn and will spend a few days in Athens, I would like to know if there is any good hobby shops dealing with 1/35 armor there.

Although I am not from Athens. You can take the subway in any station and go to "PANEPISTIMIO" station. There ask for "Ippokratous" street. It is the street going upwards next to the Athens Academy. You have to walk about 1 km. and you'll see some modelling shops. If I am not wrong they are from 60 Ippokratous street and upwards.

Hi Norseman
I was in Athens just a few weeks ago and Ippokratous Street is definitely the place to go. Kalfakis Models, Plastimodellismo and Fasma Models are all well worth checking out - the guys in Fasma were particularly helpful.
All the best and have a great trip!
All the best
