Dear Modelers,
First, let me thank you for your support in the past 10 years. I apologize for taking your time but due to the questions about resemblance of ABER and Armorscale products, I feel obligated to give you a little more of the story.
From May 2003 until November 2004 Mr. Robert Grabowski of Armorscale was working for ABER company. For his work, he was receiving monthly payments accordingly to this invoices. He was fired for incompetence and providing confidential information on the internet about future production plans of ABER.
Starting his new company Mr. Grabowski decided to use plans and projects belonging to my firm.
All the events put my company in a very awkward position.
AirConnection is our distributor in USA & Canada and Mr. Michael Szapowalow was fully informed about this unfortunate situation.
Best Regards,
Wacław Peszko

IF you really are ABER, why not put an 'official' message on your own firm homepage?
Why take your personel issue here?
This post can be done by everybody...

Paul,
I am staying out of the fray, so to speak, but I think Mr. Peszko posted this because the topic has come up at least once in the forums on this site. I think since his company has been mentioned he is just taking the opportunity to tell his side of the story.

Hi Shaun,
Yes, I know the topic was once in the forum before (and was closed by the staff).
There were in that topic posts from Mr. Grabowski, or at least, someone who said he was.
IMHO I don't think it's a good idea if this kind of things are discussed in forums because it's not plausible for us. If this is really ABER posting this message I would suggest them to add a page on their own site with the message above and give us a link to it, so we know it's ABER for real.
Or sent out a "press-statement" or an official message to the Armorama staff.
But actually, no mather how terrible the situation is (because if the situation is how it is, it is a terrible thing) it's something between ABER and it's ex-employee. Both have to know bether than this...
In the modelrailway "scene" there was a simular thing going on last year with Heris models (not here on Armorama, but in general)
But they give out a press message on the Intermodellbau Toy fair in Germany to clear it all. That leaves no room for suggestions...

It does appear to be an official statement from ABER as the email used to setup this account is ABER's email. And only someone there could have activated this account by getting the email after signing up.
I agree with Paul that perhaps issuing a press release or making a statement on their website would be the better course of action. However that said I am perfectly willing to let both sides air their point-of-view on this (provided all discussions stay civil).
Thanks,
Jim

Mr. Pezko,
Thanks for posting the information regarding this delicate topic... but more importantly -
THANKS FOR MAKING SUCH GREAT PRODUCTS.... :-) :-) :-)
I truly believe that your company makes great stuff and await each release... if only to see how far your company has gone to provide us with the most advanced detail parts for our models.
Thanks again and good luck in the future.
Tim

Gotta agree. I've heard this through second and third parties on other sitesand at model club meetings. But I also agree that Mr. Peszko needs to make this clear on the ABER site.
