To that fellow modeler who inquired about the cutting mat which he view on my T-90s pics, and to every other fellow modeler out there. The self healing mat is from Hobbico (www.Hobbico.com) and the company deals mostly with R/C models, however, they do make the mats. I do not think they sell directly, but they can direct you to where you can purchased them on their web site. They come in two sizes and are priced between $7.00 to $20.00US.

Self-healing cutting mats are also available in sewing goods stores and some craft stores.

My cutting mat is clear with a blue tint to it. I got it from Hobby Lobby. If you watch their adds, they have them on sale for %50 off every once in a while.

I have a huge section of quarter inch teflon on the "build and cut" part of my bench. Was a left over from the foundry where I work. However, Armorguy is right, check out the quilting section of your local fabric or craft store for huge cutting mats on the cheap. I bought one that is about 3x3 for less than 20 bucks. Has the grid on it and everything. If you buy one at the LSH it will cost at least 3 times as much. Apparently the RC modelers have deeper pockets than the women who quilt.

I bought my cutting mat, a 24" x 36" for 30 bucks CDN... www.currys.com ...it says 44 bucks on the website.... but it was $30 cdn at the store

Sadly, too bad you cannot order international or to the united states anymore.... but thats just my 2 cents.
