Okay early toady I came across a thread with regards to people asking for CRITICISM and getting it, there was the usual feelings of heavy handedness and then Rebuttal followed by recriminations interspersed with well worded replies followed by the rant and ending with the voice of reason.
Now remember it is just a hobby folks and after we are dead and gone you can bet your models will not be far behind.
The Following is from Merriam Websters Dictionary
1 a : the act of criticizing usually unfavorably b : a critical observation or remark c : CRITIQUE
2 : the art of evaluating or analyzing works of art or literature
1 : to consider the merits and demerits of and judge accordingly : EVALUATE
2 : to find fault with : point out the faults of.
Such is the definition for Criticism and Critisize
I for one choose to Evaluate a persons efforts
1 : to determine or fix the value of
2 : to determine the significance, worth, or condition of usually by careful appraisal and study
Now if the link below works please read it as we all fall somewhere into those catagories and the work in and of itself speaks a great deal of truth

This was an excellent read. I think that it holds a lot of truth too. :-)

Thanks. I was trying to find that article when I saw the thread about "are you compulsive?" It used to be on a ship modeling website but the author stopped being a contributor there and it went away.
It's a good read, funny, but most of all it does put things in perspective.
Thanks for sharing.

I llaauugghheedd until my girl came over to see what was so funny. Then she laughed and pointed out that Model Railroaders aren't in there. You wanna talk about Anal retentive, nerdy weirdos, I have to work hard to be a 10 across the board! Luckily, I still consider myself a newbie and will forever, because there's always something I have to learn.
What a great article P.B., Thanks for pointing it out!
