Hey Guy's,
I just uploaded 300 pics I took recently at the new Canadian War Museum in Ottawa. I apologize for some of the poor shots. My Camera died (I thought I recharged my batteries) about 4 shots in so I had to use the still feature on my Mini DV cam. I will be going back to do a few walk arounds of some of the more interesting vehicles in the collection. I hope you enjoy them and maybe you will get the chance to visit the museum in person one day.
Cheers,
Bryan

Very nice photos there Bryan. Some very good reference material. Thanks for sharing. Didn't happen to get any of an Achilles in Canadian service did you? I happen to need references on one of those. :-)

Very nice Bryan.
On your return, to do the walk arounds, are you taking requests?

Thanks Guys..Its a great venue and the exhibits are just brilliant. ALot of them are very hard to photograph due to lighting and I was a bit disapointed that it wasnt something that they thought about. The Vehicle Hall really could use some diffused light..but I think I can work around that with some screens. The young lady and the vet that were on duty in the hall to answer questions and keep people off the vehicles..turned a blind eye for me a few times when I went "out of bounds" a few times to get some behind the scenes shots..They are very accomodating and since I am a member of the Museum I get free acess anyway.
Grumps..If you need something specific just let me know and I will do my best to get it for ya. Same goes for anyone, I dont mind if its in reason. Please dont ask for interior shots as they are rather jumpy at the prospect of people climbing into the AFV and Trucks etc. Sorry. Walkarounds are possible for 90% of the vehicles though. Stay tuned. I will have a few hundred more shots next week for you to peruse.
Cheers,
Bryan

Hey Bryan,

Great pics! That place is just stuffed with goodies. I hope they have some plans for that poor, bedraggled Valentine.
