Anyone got Gran Turismo 4 for PS2?

I’ve had it a few weeks and can honestly say its amazing.
All the GT series have been the racing game for others to follow.

However...is it just me....there seems to be a bottle-neck in progress. I’ve completed all the beginers racers and have completed all but the last competition in the professional set. Here is the bottle neck...your competition in this little lot are all puckka race cars and the only way to compete to win, is to race the previous games to death so you can get between 3.5 and 4.5 mill to buy a race car to enter with a half chance of winning. You have to complete the professional races before you can progress.
