Miniature hobby if i'm looking for all brands, service is great!

Timemachine studio, if i'm looking for DMLs products. They always have a discount when they acquire new stocks. Service isnt good, because the auntie there doesnt know anything about modelling.

Haha.. but the problem in Singapore, it's difficult to get a discount for products bought. Is there a hobby shop that provides something like a member sign up where he/she gets discounts upon purchase and stuff.

That would be good though :-)

The last time i went to Mworkshop, which was about a month ago.

The guy told me that currently it's free, for now. The benefits are mainly discounts and all these.

That time i went and asked them about it, they're still not sure what to give in their membership, as they're only just starting out the members thingy.

Check out their store and ask. The staff there are friendly too!

Where is sunshine plaza?

There you go, information of where sunshine plaza is:

The nearest MRT station is Bugis, its quite a walk over. For bus, i'm not sure.

Its very near to the Buddhist and Hindu temple. It's an orange colour building, if i remember correctly.

This is the address:

91 Bencoolen St
Sunshine Plaza
Singapore 189652

Check out www.streetdirectory.com.sg if you are still unsure

Thanks to Danny for the information

can the member's 20% discount be able to stack up with MH's occasional storewide discounts?

How much is the fee for joining?

Hi guys,

I guessed because of location, I preferred Hobby Point @ Tiong Bahru Plaza (after MH closed for a while). Their services is not bad and but a little bit higher priced than MH.

BTW: MH, congrats on your re-opening, been looking forward to it!

Other places I heard of:
Art Friends: For air brushes, heard its cheap and lots of variety, never been there yet. If ever do that, will update you guys.

Cheers!

The guy over there did not give me the specifics, as the membership thing is still pending then.

The shop in tiong bahru plaza is not bad too. But i will only buy tamiya products there. If its dragon, i will still go down to Time Machine Studio. I just have to buy it there if its dragon.

Oops, left out that important details.
Its at Bras Basah Complex, level 5. Their main customers are actually artists, who also uses air brushes for rendering.

Cheers!

Yup, cos over at TS, DML kits are more cheaper than elsewhere. Plus, they have discounts for new arrivals!

Btw Leopold, how do one apply for a membership in MH?

Hmm.. seems like I'll have to go to TMS if I want to get Dragon models.

:-)

(the MH membership, just pass them your IC, they'll enter the details into their system and give you a member no.)

hi guys,

Just got back from my field trip. To clarify, Arts Friend is on LEVEL 3 and not 5. They sell Badger airbrushes + accessories. As for prices, not sure if theirs are lower as I have not purchase one b4 (mine was other brand).

Some pricing i found:
Badger 250 going for $42
Badger 350 going for $198 etc. The experts will have verify if that's cheap

At the moment, low stock and I was informed new stock arriving end of this month.

BTW, there's actually one Arts Friend at Sunshine plaza, but that's only the branch and airbrushes are only sold ar Bras Basah Complex.

Cheers!
