That's cos TMS is the distributor for DML and everyone knows DML makes great kits!

well, the only dog kit DML produced (well, the only one that i know of) is their old M1A2 Abrams...

hi guys,

Just got back from my field trip. To clarify, Arts Friend is on LEVEL 3 and not 5. They sell Badger airbrushes + accessories. As for prices, not sure if theirs are lower as I have not purchase one b4 (mine was other brand).

Some pricing i found:
Badger 250 going for $42
Badger 350 going for $198 etc. The experts will have verify if that's cheap

At the moment, low stock and I was informed new stock arriving end of this month.

BTW, there's actually one Arts Friend at Sunshine plaza, but that's only the branch and airbrushes are only sold ar Bras Basah Complex.

Cheers!

Double action airbrush for 42 dollars? Or single?

Thanks for the field report!

Really appreciated it

I am very new with Air brush, cos i am a brush and spray guy. So for $42, its a whole set and ready to paint? Or do i still have to spend on other stuff.

I'm not very good at air brushes too.

However, from what I've read up on and surfing through websites, forums, etc. S$42, i believe will get you a brush that's just good for simple/specific painting. (that has to be confirmed by Dan because he's doing the research for us )

Oh, it's best to get a compressor too. (higher cost $$)

For 42 bucks, its only for an airbrush. Compressors normally we have to get it seperately.

A compressor can cost anywhere from 100 - 500 bucks i think.

Guys, if you are serious about this hobby, get an airbrush. I did and never regretted it.

My airbrush and compressor cost only about 340 together. Recommended by fellow modeller Leopold. It's a Sparmax double action airbrush with it's own 'baby' compressor. It's, IMHO, one of the cheapest. I got it at Tiong Bahru plaza.

Hi guys,

$42 for single action only (about 18mm plus spot). For double action, you can get the brand, Sparmax from Tiong Bahru plaza (Hoby Point) @$120 (able to produce 3mm line.

If you are interested to get one, best to get one from a shop that also sell accessories so that you can do replacement by parts when worn down.

As what Danny said, Hobby point's offer seems a great deal. i got my compressor from Centre Point (hobby Plus) for $238 and then a seperate water trap + pressure control at Hobby Point for about $60 odd. Really regret this move...

Cheers!

And the most expensive kit I've got is ithe 1/350 Yamato which i've not started on and don't plan to for quite some time.

Well, there are fires in Singapore. Someiimes during peak seasons, like bush fire during hot seasons and when the months comes where the chinese community starts burning offerings incense paper etc without using proper bins, well thats where the normal fires kinda make things busy. On a normal note, we attend to lock doors, Road traffic accidents, suicides, hazardous materials mitigations, Chemical attacks:- (never happen before: train just like what i learn in army but worse...) we do routine enforcement checks on premises, check hydrants. So life is busy. But when fire is concern, yeah there are fires everyday in singapore. But quite rarely we have big ones.
