Sorry to have to create a new topic like this guys, but I thought you'd all like to know that your local Hobby Lobby is having their yearly 1/2 off sale on model kits!!! That's right, 50% off!!

They carry Tamiya mainly. I picked up a couple of Walker Bulldogs for $6.59 @, plus a 6x6 truck for $16.87, a couple of Panthers for $9.90, (plus a night fighter foir the same price), a
M-60 for $12.35, ....well, you get the picture. The sale ends March 2, I believe.
Sooooo, run down and getcha a few. :-) :-) :-)

No Hobby Lobbies up here in the Great White North I used to love going there when I was stationed in Texas and Alabama. I couldn't convince you to grab another 6X6 could I?

Man! This stinks, at the Hobby Lobby by me the only two Tamiya kits they ever have are the Bulldogs and an M1 Abrams... Oh well, at least I got my German HANOMAG APC.

I cannot believe this man would do such irrepairable damage to our psyche. And to top it off, he does not even volunteer to buy us these models at bargain prices. He should revert back to private!

Gee fella's....you're making me feel all guilty and stuff. I guess I just spoke up too soon from the shock of finding Tamiya kits at those prices!!! :-)
But no worries. Rob, already ran back out and got ya a 6 x 6. And before DJ gets his way and busts me back down to private, if you guys really want anything just speak up now or forever hold your peace.
I also picked up....lets see, let me grab the receipt.....

(2) Sherman M4A3's for 9.95 @

(3) US Infantry weapons sets (one w/ recoiless & one w/ flamethrower) for 4.48
(4) sandbag sets for 9.00
(2) Allied vehicle access. sets for 10.99

Plus what I got yesterday.

If I remember they also have the

Looks like you got some great deals Tread, I just bought Tamiya's panther today and paid $19 for it. I thought that was a good price, but $9.99 that's great. The sad thing is I had to sneak it into the house before my wife got home...I'm a bad boy.

Wow, sorry Jan...I don't think anyone's ever generated eight (8) screamin' red meemies before.....
Hooby Lobby is just another commercial retail outlet here in the land of the 'Great Satan'.
The 50% off thing is just to draw people into the store so they can buy OTHER stuff. Unfortunately for them it also draws in other people like me who can drop by and 'scarf' up a deal! That's all.

BTW. As the old addage says " grasshopper, sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes the bear eats you".

Kenc'...you're on the list. Tomorrow I'm finishing up work early and hittin' all the Hobby Lobby's in my area (the models are goin' fast). So, I will do my best to fill your list. As far as the money part of it, no worries. I don't need to make a profit or anything here. If I can help out my fellow armorama.com mates, I'm more than happy to do it. The input & help you guys have been to me has been more than worth the effort.

Ok, Tread. No hard feelings. Maybe I was a bit trigger-happy when I fired those meemies at you. I really hope you enjoy all that, honestly. And I hope the bulky new package of kits is not discovered by your wife !

Non taken Jan,my post was all said in 'jest', hence the little winking smiley face.
The only reason I brought it up is that all the time I've been posting here I've been dying to use that silly red face. Only had a chance to finally use it for the first time a week or so ago.... :-)

I guess I just jealous because you got to use 8 of them! lol.

You seem to be very lucky with 19 in Colorado!! :-) WOW are you lucky for so many out there.

Hmmm, now if I could just convince my wife that we need to move there. lol :-) But than again...too cold and no beaches. :-)

Thanx for the head's-up tread. I hit Hobby Lobby right after reading your message and picked-up a couple of good kits. They didn't have much of a selection, but I managed to get a Tamiya Wirblewind and a DML Stug III for $30!! Glad I didn't bid on the Wirblewind they have on e-bay! May have to hit the second store here in town tommorow. :-)

Thanx again.
