Been looking for a USMC 1st pattern(without slits) cover and helmet for a while but wanted to acquire the rig under certain circumstances(the helm and cover having always been together) so here he is...

Hi David,
Compared to German helmets this item was fairly inexpensive - got into the rig for $350. It came from a collector friend in Atlanta who acquired the thing from the vet's family.
