Why does the clock on the site say 4:54 pm and my time is 9:54 am? What time zone is this site in?

Hmm...I am assuming that this time is a "server" time and it had been set to EST. I re-set it to GMT so this is why it's 4 hrs ahead of EST now. I hadn't realized that this clock was only giving the correct time for EST folk. I will try to get it working for everyone based on their time-zone setting in their account setup area.

Cheers,
Jim

If you want to make us really feel bad jim, you should "accumulate and log" the time each user spends online... and when we sign off, it can tell us if we have earned any R&R from the frontlines!

Also, a curious question... interested to know what the "bellcurve" looks like for the number of people registered and the gerneral distribution of various ranks.... Or maybe let us sort the member list by Rank? I'm only in the "middle" of the officer pack, and I'm good two - three times per day at about 30-45 minites per visit... let me see who the REAL sicko's are!

Could you fit a number that big on the screen? I'd guess all the numbers would need to be in scientific notation.

This would be interesting! :-) (is it just me, or do modelbuilders like to have the stats?)

Ok...the site clock should be working correctly now IF you have the time_offset correctly set in your my account area. Please note that with Daylight savings time in-effect that EST (for instance) is actually EDT and is GMT -4. Not -5 as it will be the rest of the year.

Daylight savings time. Is it time to dump this early 20th century notion??

I set my zone for for Eastern Time and it reads 4 hours ahead. Hmmm...am I doing something wrong?

Wow, this is the first time that the time on this site has actually been correct for me! Thanks Jim

Jim--up here in the Great White North, we like to save all the sunlight we can get. Right now, I'm catching the bus in the dark to get to the University every morning. When it changes back, it should be lighter for me........ at least for a while.......

Ken,
Are you using the Armor Focus theme? I haven't fixed those yet. Thanks for reminding me though.
