i don't know what's up... i take a six month break.. finally get the urge to model again. work for like 3 days then totally lose interest again. i can't figure out the logic in it.

The title scared me at first.
What i usually do is watch a WWII movie to get me into the mood!
Centruy of Warfare
Band of Brothers
Enemy at the gates
Saving Private Ryan
We were soldiers
Hamburger Hill
list goes on and on....
Wind Talkers
Patton

I have those kind of periods but when I see what others are building here and at shows I have to get right at it. I love even to look at my own past builds and remember how once that was just a pile of pieces in a box and I made it into something that looks better than the pile of pieces.
I am very proud of this build. Not much compared to others here but I feel very good about it. HOpe that helps. BTW I have corrected that front mg so it is at the same angle as the main gun.

I sometimes find myself in such a fix as you're in now but don't worry you'll eventually find yourself back into modeling again in no time.

John,
Take a break from what you are used to. Build a ship, plane or figure. Grab a car model. I do it all the time. I picked up a 1/72 scale F9 Hellcat model because it was cheap and I was getting fed up with the zimmerit and SS camoflage tunics that were really starting to irk me.
If nothing else, work out in the yard for a while. I was born in Reading and I bet it is almost getting nice enough to spend some time outside.

Might just be the time of year as it's getting lighter and warmer most people have other hobbies to do.
I'm in the same boat keep thinking of getting my scooter done now and not really been on here much either.

Personally, I think he possibly has his mind on the other type models...ie: girls...That can lead you away and you may wander off for years John.
Have some fun, enjoy life, your young and take advantage of your youth. Then when your old like us, come back and we'll be here for you.
Life is what happens when your busy making other plans...

I run into that problem a lot get started then something happens my fault not my fault and then it is hard to get back into the swing on things. When this happen i usually go buy another kit chain myself to my desk and chair and then everything returns to "NORMAL". If this did not happen we would in a lot of trouble.

When you get older and get a wife, she will at some point begin to complain about you modeling to much. She will complain even though you only paint/glue once a month. Believe me, then you will wan't to model more then ever.
