I just wanted to post few words of praise for Squadron. I occasionally buy models and supplies from them and part of my last order were two pieces of Verlinden's lead foil. When I got the package I noticed the lead foil was totally not the right size. The pieces were cut into thin strips, about 1.5 x 4 inches (they are usually 3 x 4), and they looked crinkled as if someone had sat on them. I immediately sent Squadron an e-mail and within a week I got replacement pieces of lead foil and even got to keep the other ones. I am very impressed with Squadron's customer service.

KUDOS!

They are very good on customer service. Only thing is they don't have a toll free number. But heck I just use the cell phone when I use to order. (:-)

I had a jar of paint missing from an order. They made good fast.

BUT Their Comsale items are a pain in the butt. I have tried ordering some of those items, and they are always out of stock. I realize they have limited quantities of these things, but their web-site needs some serious upgrading to show instock/out of stock status or similar details.

Answer to the out of stock question.
Squadron is good about out of stock items. When something is out of stock, they take it of there sight. You also have to realize, not only are they a mail order service, but they also service retail stores too. My store buys from them all the time and i have been in there wharehouse several times to pick up orders.

Marty,
Just click the "Top Rated Online Stores" link at the bottom of the homepage, locate Squadron and click the rate/review button.

Cheers,
Jim

ya gotta love Squadron.
If it weren't for VLS's membership deal w discount and free shipping, I'd do all my buisness there.

The comsale thing, if they have It GREAT, if not, nothing lost.

I dragged their good name through the mud over on RMS regarding a multiple order that was a combination of their web design and my fault and they called me to see what we could do to make it right!
Class act! Much more-so than I was.

I don't miss a chance to chime in that they are good folks.

Jim, why isn't The Barrel Store in the list of online stores? I'd like to be able to rate them as it is my favorite place for AM parts and figures.
