I've noted one other Kansan here, are there any others?

Plan on being at OzCon this year or the Newton show next month or in October?

Don't get your hopes up, I just didn't want to leave a fellow Kansan hanging with no responses. I won't say "Jayhawker", after all, "Every Man a Wildcat" !!!!

We lived in Manhattan for 4 years & Lansing for another 22 or so. One kid went to KSU, the other to KU, so a house divided & all that. I did time at KU & KSU. I still remember the good old days when neither school had decent football & both had great basketball

Now out here in NC -- even brought Roy with us :-)
We're still Big 8 (not 12) fans, but I gotta tell you that ACC basketball (UNC, Duke, Wake) is great ....

No plans to go to OzCon this year, especially with the price of gas. We just had KC Con last Saturday.

Ah yes..K- State, you never know which way the wind blows in that regard. As far as Roy goes, they're still in shock here. Until it became too expensive, I'd hoped to go on to K-State (from Ft. Hays State...yeah Div 2 Champs..back..when.) and earn a Ph.D in history...maybe some day.

Yes, the price of gas has killed that trip for me as well. I suspect I will be happy just posting my work in the campaigns here.
