Man, I bought quite a few of those kits at ridiculously low prices recently. Now to see them this low makes me sick, I may have to place an order...

They got them at the PX, run about $15. Both an armed and unarmed version. Not a bad price, I can grab one for you.

Thanks for the heads-up, Dubanka. Having picked up a few earlier, I'll just pile today's purchase on the older ones. If the wife asks, I'll just tell her I'm Dollar Cost Averaging my price down (Ha-Ha) :-) :-). Man, what great deals.

Me and the Mrs. just got back from there. I had a field day!! I got tons of new kits to keep me busy for...weeks, perhaps months is a more accurate description.
I got two M4A1's, and one each of:
M -32
LVT- 4
M-20
Dodge WC-54 Ambulance
WWII Ambulance Jeep
LVT-(A)1 Alligator
and for fun and something completely different for me Tamiya's "Pibber". My wife picked it out.
Along with the kits I grabbed a few Squadron books which were 50% off too. The coolest of which is the one on Amtracs. Also got my hands on "Aliied-Axis Tank Transporters of WWII" part 1. This is a great book of photos for reference for anyone building either the Dragon Wagon or the FAMO.
The place is dangerous.

Eek.... Low priced quality models..... on the internet.... not good!!!

After ordering all three Star Wars kits form Hobby Link Japan ($60 plus whatever overseas shipping costs...), swinging by Hobby Lobby ($18 for a USS Arizona) and the local hobby store (lets just say I've spent enought there...), I've come to the conclusion that I don't need any more models this week.
...We'll see about next week....

SIX BUCKS FOR A SHERMAN
EIGHT BUCKS FOR A PZIV

The evergrowing pile of kits is fed once more.

Time to update the sale list (aka kits I'll never get to in a lifetime!!!!)

Cheers

I had to play to. I ordered the Paladin, the regular hemmet, and the fuel hemmet. I also really wanted the Lav-25 mortar and the M163 vulcan so I back ordered them. The total for the products came to $40.75 including the back ordered products. The retail price for the order would have come to $146.00 even. This sale saved me a grand total of $105.25 at a rate of 72% (actually a bit more, but I rounded it off) discount. I came close to buying my first piece of German armor ever, but resisted. The Italeri aircraft had some great prices also, but I have never seen a kit of thiers without raised pannel lines so I passed. Thanks for the tip guys. (:-)

Have no fear Ekaufman, on the left side of the Model Expo screen is a "yellow" field for navigating to the kits of your interest. Just click your way through them.

You have to go to the sale website I posted click on the link, and it will take you to the unadvertised sale website.

I found out about this from a catalog sent to me by modelexpo, and had to pass it on.

Just in case, go to www.model-expo.com/datg

I just checked and the prices are the same. Here is how I got there.

1. click on the link that says "here is the sale website" in the original post of this thread.
2. In the left colum under "shop by category" select "plastic Kits".
3. Next you will see a list of manufacturers on the left side. Go down to the section under "MILITARY VEHICLES/WEAPONS" . Under there you will find Italeri. Click on Italeri and the sale list will all be brought up. As of right now the sale prices are listed. (if you choose Italeri under some other section like "aircraft" you WILL NOT see the sale vehicles, it must be selected under "MILITARY VEHICLES/WEAPONS" ).
