Hello everybody, just joined and making myself know to all here. I'm 37 and been modelling ( badly ) on and off for a few years. I'm blown away by the pic's I see here and hope to learn how to model properly, or at least raise my standards. I prefer armour models and would like to get into dioramas but my figures all look like lego men. Anyway hello and see ya in the forums.

Hiya Redskin! Welcome to the site and everyone's figures were like Legomen when we first started, just keep practising, post some pics, get some feedback, and don't be afraid to ask for advice. We're a friendly lot here.

Welcome aboard Redskin. We're all glad to have you among us.
We all started not doing so hot in one field or another. So, stick around, ask questions and let the learning commence.

Thanks folks, I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions. Treadhead, my username is nothing special, long ago when I started playing flight-sims ( on a commedore 64 I think ) My callsign was redskin cos I was following the fortunes of the american football team at the time. The 67 is the year I was born, there ya go, thanks again for a hearty welcome, cya in the posts.

Welcome to Armorama from Texas. You'll find this is a friendly place to post pictures and get feedback and learn. As far as dioramas, there are a large number of very good articles on building techniques here, give them a read and dive in.
