Friends,
A fellow Dutch modeller is looking for spare blades of his "Beaver Knife".... he knows it's a knife that is made in the U.S. of A. and that the spare blade looks like the one below.
Does this look familiar to you ? I've never seen it myself.
Does anybody know where to buy spare blades ?

Sorry Reb.... it's not there.
I thought it looked somewhat like a scapel, but it isn't quite that.
here's the knife itself :

Danny, try here:
Arista Surgical Supply Co.
HMC Electronics
Ultimately, I would have your friend switch to a more easily accessible knife like Xacto or Excel. Beaver is a maker of surgical knives. The one he is using appears to be their old style handle. The new one is round like Xacto's.

Ken,
thanks... that's it...good links.
Look at those prices.... pfeww pretty steep
I'll advice him to switch to Excel, ProEdge or Dahle. Unfortunately X-Acto is very hard to get over here these days.
Thanks again.

Yeah, $23 for 6 blades is a major OUCH!!!
I guess you better be a surgeon in order to afford them. :-)
