Hmmm, thats a mighty fine job... I dont think its worth it though. Being away from your family and doing dangerous work. My question is, is why is it exactly $120, 632? Why isnt it $120, 600 or somthing like that? Did they divide our taxes up evenly in an amount and come up with this number?

That pay sure do look good. But with the situation in Iraq right now which make a gang war in LA looks like childs play, I don't think that its worth it.

I have several police friends that showed me that same flyer yesterday. The general concensus among them is to steer clear... for now.
The money looks nice, but there are several other more important factors that keep it from being attractive.
Why only 9mm qualification? Is that the only weapon issued? Iraqi police do not bring their firearms home with them, which has caused many of them to fall victim to roadside executions. There are several other reasons for not doing it.. The couple above were their biggest concerns.

Even if there was another zero before the decimal place, I wouldn“t consider it. Life is worth more in my books.

Ciao everyone,
Well, I can tell you that I showed it to my wife and she didn't even comment on it. That's wifease for "never mention anything so stupid again. Forget about it!" So much for my get rich quick scheme. Besides, there is a reason why they are offering so much money.
Ciao for now

Rob, if your wife found that was stupid listen to this:
2 years ago my dad had an accident at work and riped a finger off, pretty bad and was sent to the hospital to get it fixed ( yup, he's got his finger back nad he's fine!). The electricien from work was in charge of tellign my mom about it sicne she took a day of from work. showed up at my door rung the bell entered the house, raised my dad jacket, wallet and keys and said " heres whats left of gaston" imagine how stupid that is?
