Kenaz, normally I do surface if I'm not waiting for something urgently. But for this I shipped air. Came to a total of $57 which works out at £30. If you are prepared to wait for surface it works out at $41 which is about £20. Have you seen what's in this kit? I would have paid more!

Ron,
Not sure what you mean? I've ordered loads of stuff from Lucky model in the past and it's always here at my doorstep within 10 days.....and I haven't found cheaper anywhere.

No I am afraid I don't understand what Ron is trying to say either...

I have just seen it on Lucky Models website as well - that is one good price. With the €uro against the dollar it's coming in even cheaper. Can't even begin to imagine what it'll cost when it hits Europe - 60+€uros?....Jim

True. Great models is taking PRE-orders for it. I wonder if they will charge only $23 when they actually get it? Interestingly they quote $25.45 for the 251 3 in 1 which they have in stock, whilst LuckyModel.com only charges $20.99. Going through their stock list of what is actually in stock I can't find any that are cheaper.....only stuff you can pre-order. Does anybody have experience of pre-order charges going up with Great Model?

I get this in school a lot. I'm talking to one of my students, trying to teach them a formula or concept, and you can tell from the glassy unfocussed look that I might as well be talking Martian. Ah well......................

Kenaz,
In between laughing, I'm fighting my conscience. I've ordered one, but since it's a 3 in 1 kit I really feel I should order another 2. If this Tiger ain't kit of the year already, I can't wait to see what is!

I'm really excited about all the features of this kit, I might as well buy one (I'll wait for the early or mid version though) but the question why another Tiger pops in my head unvoulnatrily.

I really hope they have something else in this caliber in the making, if its not an allied subject like a Centurion or an M2/3 Halftrack and only an overdone german armour I at least hope it's a Panzer III variant with the same spoils found in the tiger kit in the same price as the Tamiya Pz.kfw IIIJ kit.

Ron (Hoovie) I presume your native language is in fact English? It does seem as if you have some problems understanding the most basic instructions. If you buy from HK or Japan, when you arrive at the 'checkout' you are asked what form of mail you wish to choose. Three options:

Surface (the slowest) Which takes between 2-3 months,

Air-Mail between 5-10 days

Courier (UPS etc.) 2-3 days.

Therefore if you choose the 'SURFACE' option it will take longer. All understood now? This is the 2nd post i've seen from you saying exactly the same thing...Jim

Guys
According to one hobby shop I deal with the DML tiger 1 will be in around the middle of February and will cost £23.99, which isn't bad for a 3 in 1 kit.
Pete

PS I'm gonna wait to see if it can be made into a DAK Tiger before i buy one.

Elad, I guess being an axis armour fan I am blessed at the moment with Dragon producing kits such as these, but I can honestly say that I don't care what kind of armour they make, if it's up to this standard I'll buy it! Not only from the accuracy standpoint, but I love getting all these little fiddly extras, the shells, the hanging jackets and boots....this is stuff we all had to accumulate through buying a myriad of kits, or fork out to the after market guys for. It's brilliant! I agree though, an M3 halftrack made to this standard would be amazing. Can you imagine how many they would sell? Especially if they brought one out with a balkancreuz on the side LOL.
