Ron I think what the whole idea of the thread was ...He HAS it and we don't ..I'd have paid $42.00 to get it first ...
I can't wait to salivate over this kit ....And Ron just be careful of Great Models some people had the pre-orders cancelled for the Dragon M4A1 ..To me that ain't service!! I'll never buy from them again...

Well, I think I'll skip all the complicated linguistic issues, math problems and the like, and just buy the tiger from my local hobby shop. LOL

When exactly is it slated to hit the stores? I understand teacher that you have yours already? Please forgive my confusion on the specifics, but this thread has me a little dizzy. LOL

I've always wanted to build a Tiger I, but never have bought one yet. This sounds like the one to cut my teeth on.

I started this thread just to let people know where they could get the new Tiger quickly. It's not a contest. I have dealt with LuckyModel a great deal and find their prices VERY competitive, and their service absolutely honourable.
Conversely, there is another thread questioning Great Models policies.
Good luck Ron, I hope you get your Tiger on Wednesday. I always like being surprised.

OH MY GOD, we have somebody who hasn't yet build a Tiger........... Get him before he gets away!!!

Seriously though, this sounds like the best deal for many years, so if you can get your hands on one, go for it...

John, I know Dragon keep raising the bar, but I don't think anybody can see how a better Tiger in 1/35th could be produced. Get 3.

Yes Sir I wish you very good luck too!
From what I have seen your work is excellent!
I should do so good, and have much to learn!
Somtimes it is good to argue it tends
to bring out the truth of the issue!
Have fun~

Very funny Henk! LOL

Don't worry, I won't get away! Actually, the first armor model I built was Tamiyas King Tiger w/Henschel Turret. Just haven't bought a Tiger I yet although I love the look of the beast. I was very pleased with Dragons 3-in-1 251 Halftrack. If that is any indication of the quality, then the Tiger must be a beaut!

The only problem I have with the new Dragon Tiger 3 in 1 is that it doesn't look enough like a Sherman.

This ought to be interesting. Lucky Models got their kits first because they are close to Dragon and now they have to ship overseas to the buyer in England.

GM has to receive them from overseas and then send it to the buyer in CA

Back to the kit. I see the kit in store on display has a tons of goodies, metal barrel, spring that makes the barrel recoil (which I think is dumb), some PE, and tons other stuffs. My question is would the Mass produced version has the same stuff in or it's only for the pre-ordered ones.

Almost make me wanna do a tank again, almost.

I'm putting my money on Lucky Models....

Normally it takes 30-45 days for the US guys to even get the model and another week or two to get to the shops.

GMWS still showing TAKING PREORDERS for the kit...

Elad, I guess being an axis armour fan I am blessed at the moment with Dragon producing kits such as these, but I can honestly say that I don't care what kind of armour they make, if it's up to this standard I'll buy it! Not only from the accuracy standpoint, but I love getting all these little fiddly extras, the shells, the hanging jackets and boots....this is stuff we all had to accumulate through buying a myriad of kits, or fork out to the after market guys for. It's brilliant! I agree though, an M3 halftrack made to this standard would be amazing. Can you imagine how many they would sell? Especially if they brought one out with a balkancreuz on the side LOL.

Vinnie

I can understand that. I have no particular intrest in axis stuff and I already have one quasi finished Tiger (academy's early w/interior) that I'm not particularly fond of but the new 3 in 1 Tiger boasts so many features and bonuses that I think I'll purchase it anyway and I think that with this attention to detail coupled with a decent price you could sell any subject.

I think DML invented the first OOTB superdetailed model kit with this release.
