Hey guys, check this out...

My new helmet, its an early fixed bale helmet with the front seam, and the original texturing still there. It was painted black, and had the faint outline of an iron cross when I bought it, probably a bikers helmet. I painted it olivedrab, though I may paint is once more with a darker color. The liner is made by seaman paper companyand has all the original hardware, including a double wire sweatband, though that is falling apart and I've temporarily replaced it with a repro. But this is what you really want, some pictures...

try [url=http://www.toppots.net/home.htmlhere[/url] for some nice prices. I think they are the cheapest for restored helmets I've seen yet.
