Hi all,
I'm not sure if there's ever been a thread like this, I couldn't find it. Anyway, the idea of this thread is to show other member where you live....how does your house look, how do the surroundings look etc. This is because there are so many member from so many different countries.......I want to know how it looks at your places!
Here are some pics of my home and the area around it...
The area near my home
A small lake near my house
The ditch behind my house
The windmill near my house

Me in front of my house after I finished the Senior General Secondary Education...
So, show us your home!
Greetings,
Martin

I do most of my "livin'" in the chair right here:
The house is a rather non-descript 3-bedroom ranch with yellow vinyl siding and fake brick on the front. Couple cars in the driveway because the garage is full of my junk (no room for cars). Lots of anti-personnel mines distributed around the yard by my dog ...

House in summer....

Shot last winter, snow then a few inches of ice on the top. Fun.

And my dungeon...

The house was built in 1900, which is pretty old for around here (Pacific NW USA). It was originally a butcher shop before being renovated to some more proper living quarters. Doesn't look like too much, but the two lots and 2500 square feet are more than enough!

I'll get back on this one tomorrow. I don't have any digital pictures of my house. I'll cross my fingers for a sunny day tomorrow :-)

Maybe I will snap a few pics tomorrow. That would mean I would have to go outside! BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
Let's see, it was 5 below when I woke up this morning and is a whole blazing 5 degrees farenheit right now!! We had an inch of ice last week, followed by 4 or 5 inches of snow and then the deep freeze, so you can imagine what it looks like here!! My backyard looks like an ice skating rink!

I hear you, Brother. My dog injured himself going out for his "buiness." If I can't get a thaw, I want snow to cover the ice. At least the roads are clear now (here).

and we've got carls ice cream parlor, it was rated in the top 10 places for icecream in america not too long ago.

couldnt find a modern pic. of our town (oddly enough) maybe because nothing happens here nowadays and all its fame was spent during the civil war....oh well, home is home

O'er the yonder!!!!

the other one's our artist's workshop where we make mock-up or signages. I used to be part of the design crew but I had to be kicked out and placed on procurements. I guess they can't sell the supermarket in camouflage colours. It would be hard to find.

Haha we don't really have that here...our neighboors and most of the people of our street make a lot of noise, like playing loud music on (car) radios etc....
That's not what I'm waiting for around 00:30 while trying to get some sleep
Luckely, it's not every evening like that

That's the truth. It was compounded by the fact that we had just finished getting the house sided and teh yard had been filled with trailers and other equipment. Plus having three large oaks in the front makes it hard to keep up when they are at the height of leaf dropping.

My home, just before we moved in last year. And my old truck.
