I have been using it for some time now. It is still in Beta which means it may not be fully functional but it seems to be all right. for now it is free but according to MS, they will charge a subscription fee starting sometime this summer.
Still, no single Anti-Spyware/Ad-Ware program will take care or all the problems. I suggest using Ad-Aware, Spybot, Spy Sweeper and a good Anti-virus program to help keep your PC running smoothly.

Yup, and try using two whenever doing a scan (one after the other). The definitions for one may not pick up those that the other's definitions will.
