I must be an exception to the rule. Im usualy quite tidy and like modelling when everything is in its place. I have a small room for modelling, but I mostly model in the living room at the coffee table. All my tools are in a tool/fishing type box with an inner tray. I can lift this by one handle and the model in the other. My dremel and other pieces are in another tool box should I need more tools. All my paints are on a little vegetable-type trolley with 3 shelves/baskets. I wheel this into the coffee table and wheel back when Im finished. I lay down a newspaper (always on the trolley) and go. There is a permanent adjustable floor-light there for lighting. As I clear away every time I finsh, nothing is out of place. I only store and spray in the model room and occasionaly if I have some small job to do. I like modelling with the telly on, and my wife would prefer my company rather than being alone.

All my dio building stuff is on another trolley.
If everything is a mess, I find it hard to get started, but when alls where it should be, its nice starting on a clean bench.
A good modelling friend told me one time (actually several times) if you have model block or are doing nothing, tidy up your work area. Then the next time you want to model, you dont have to sift through a mess before starting something new!
How many of you guys have went to start modelling and skipped it because the place was a mess and couldnt be bothered tidying up first???
