I'm always amazed at the various items we come up to make models. Talent comes in many forms.
I received these today in a email from a freind.
Made entirely from lego blocks.

And I can't even make a decent mold box out of these...... :-) :-) :-)

Legos has to one of the coolest toys ever - still. It kinda sucks that by the time I deemed myself "too old" for such things is when they really took off what all their theme oriented sets. Fads like GI Joe, Transformers, Evil Knievel, etc. come & go BUT Legos are still around and strong. This church dio is simply fantastic, what a creative person.

After looking at this thing for a good 15 - 20 min all I can say is wow! This dio is outstanding! The detail is as good as I've ever seen done in plastic. This a very creative and well thought out piece. Congrats to the builder.

Amazing. This must have cost the builder quite a bit.

hej
I live in lego's home land and I think your friend' dio is good.
If he moved to Denmark, I think he had no problem with a job in Legoland.
In Legoland they have peopel, who just build for "fun" all day and sometimes it is so good, that they make a kit out of it and sometimes its dumped.
What a job, get $ for building lego all day.

Another amazing thing about LEGO dioramas and LEGOLAND builds is the color. Notice that LEGO kits come in an assortment of colors, hence it's almost impossible to make anything the same color if you don't have enough bricks of the same color.
Even as a young kid, I didn't like building LEGO if the colors didn't match.
LEGO back in the 1980s allowed builders to mail-order for specific colored parts and pieces. The prices weren't cheap, and how do you know how many pieces of one color you need? Don't be fooled, that Cathedral diorama sure isn't cheap!

I know it doesn't do much to point this out unless you have that specific issue of MMIR, but this guy's dio was built up using LEGOs
