Reg was $134 so I got it for $80 I saw the same kit at another Hobby Lobby for $144 so who knows what the list price is suppose to be. Something between $134 and $144 looks like.
I got the B-29 (It's huge) in 1:48 along with a buggy load of armor and other planes and ships.

I guess I will have to go back out and hit another store in town and find the F-16. Not a bad price for such a big kit.

Got a reply to my nastygram to HL. Local manager phoned with an apology, and i ended up getting a Hanomag and a Grief for $12. They had nothing else I was interested in. Apparently they had complaints from other shoppers about price jacking in other areas and were trying a bit of damage control.

Glad to here you got some response. Some times it's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease.
I'm not getting anything this time, unless the wife and kids come through. Which I doubt. There really isn't anything I can't live without, and God knows I have enough unfinished models as it is.
Besides I'd just as soon wait until the next time they have a 50% off, instead of settling for only 40%.

Some times it pay to complain, never let them walk on you. Always stand up for your rights and what is fair.

Hey guys, I have bad news: Word on the street says that Hobby Lobby will no longer have any sales over 40%....So no more half-off sales....
I truly hope it's just a rumor. Thanks for your time.
P.S. I picked up a Tamiya Sd. Kfz. 251/1 ( I think it's my fourth one; I could make it blindfolded!) and the turned brass 75mm anti-tank rounds for a diorama I'm working on.
