Well, I've already got Steve Zaloga's "Shermans in Combat[2] (from my sons) & I picked up the full DVD set of "Band of Brothers" at the PX (62.00USD, no tax, with a 10% off coupon), that's from my wife. I'll be a good boy & wrap both so I can open them at X-mas ...

What I'm now hoping for from the rest of the family is a Collapsible Aluminum (or Titanium-yeah,right) cane/walking staff w/camera mount to replace the hand-caved cherry one that I stupidly left in NY over the T-Giving holiday

Dear (:-) ,
All I want for Cristmas is some time (a month or two should do) to make a dent in the cupboard of unbuilt kits in my den.

Unfortunately , I have too little time to build them because I'm at work, which at least gives me the money to buy them. And put them, unbuilt, in a cupboard...

Still, I'm slowly working my way through them and looking forward to 1/1/05 so I can start an SKPzw222 for my part in the Apprentice Guild Exercises #2 Campaign (I'm assuming it's not the done thing to start work on a model before the start date of the campaign?)

Ive told the wife if she can find "a bridge to far" on DVD, it would be perfect!

I know its the season of goodwill and this site is a special place where a lot of great people mingle, but it still amazes me, as to the kindess and generosity shown by fellow modellers.
When I posted this thursday ... I did a search on a swedish cd/dvd site and bought it for myself... and it can be a gift from the wife,
Since then I have had 2 offers to send me the dvd free of charge. I wont name names here .... both you guys know how i mush appreciate the thoughts. Just thought Id share the sentiment with you guys. Happy Xmas to yis all and I hope yer wishes are fullfilled!
