i played call of duty a lot untill it screwed up on my pc, il re-install it or something. i also play stronghold crusader, raven shield, and thats about it.. i cant wait to play the new cod expansion

Frank

The new CoD expansion is amazing, Frank. It is the only expansion I have ever played that truly improved the gameplay experience of the original.

As for Raven Shield, I've been playing R6 since the Spring of '98... Oh, such beautiful game. You saw we announced Rainbow Six 4, no?

When?! How?! Seeing how I've beaten R6-3, I was looking at another FPS. With GR2 and R6-4 now, it doesn't look like too much modeling will be done.

Yeah, RS4 is due in the Spring. However, it isn't going to be called RS4, that is just the working title for now. It will be called Rainbow Six: (insert subtitle)

GR2 is a blast! Do you play on Xbox Live?

Don't worry about the moderators. Most of them are okay people...

:-) :-)

Expansion packs are coming out so fast and furious I have a hard time keeping up with what has been released for what platform.

That would be really interesting Joseph, maybe after Christmas when I could give it my proper attention?
October

Those other games sound worth a look Bullet Tooth, I used to play Talentsofts Eastern Front but unfortunatly it's too dated now when compared to the likes of CM. I've dabbled with Fighting Steel WW 2 Surface Combat but its a bit too much of a specialised interest one to enjoy the game play totally.
Then of course there's Kasparov Chessmate but I won't be beating the man himself just yet :-)

Sounds good to me... (:-)

Howdy fellow Gamers,

Thought I'd pipe in on this one.

It's really great reading everyone's impression of this game or that. I found some very useful info just cruising through this thread.

For me, I'm a devout BF42 fan. Mainly because of the first-person viewpoint, the ability to drive/fly the vehicle's, and the physical dynamics of the gameplay.
Being an old Helo driver flying the different choppers in the game pretty much has me hooked. I can come at a flag, or outpost in that game full out, and flare hard, and stop on a dime almost every time. I will be self-indulgent here and say I've wow!ed at least a few younger players while playing the servers.

On that note.....if anyone know's of a game that is BETTER than Battlefield 1942 as far as the accuracy of the flying experience goes........please tell me!!

Tread.

In fact, someone did mention a game some time ago to me.....just can't remember the title.

Ha! I've got you all beat! I still play my OLD original Nintendo, an Atari, a Sega Genesis, a Nintendo 64, and my computer, which, by the way, is a Pentium II, so no new games for me anytime soon. Say, what are these new games you guys are talking about? What's "BF42" and "Shellshock: Nam '67". I don't venture into the computer game aisle anymore....Thanks for your time.

I wish they would have ontinued with plans to put our BF42 for Xbox. However those lans were dropped so that the company could focus on the next upgrade to BF42 on the PC.

Nah, Shermies. They decided to turn it into Battlefield: Modern Combat, which is a modern version of BF42 for the Xbox and PS2.
