My odometer just turned over again! It finally reached 300,000 miles! And you thought your car had a lot of miles on it!

I guess with regular maintainance and careful driving (e.i. NO holes, offroad, speeding, racing) my car will get there too!! 124,000 right now.
P.S. I once saw a car with half a million miles, and the car looked alright, it's owner had to change the engine by then though....

The trucks we drive on milk collections run almost 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Cows don't have holidays or weekend breaks. Most of our trucks run back to back shifts and some have clocked up over 350000 KM in two years....... the average is about 280000. Mind you, driving up and down farmtracks and lanes wears them out, most will not last another two years..
Cheers
