Didn't quite know where to put this, so...
Went on a trip this weekend and I visited the Canadian War Museum.
This museum is the work of one man (no government help, no subsidies, no nothing, his own time, effort and money). He started this because he made a promise to his father when he died, that he should keep the rememberance going on the men that saved his live in WW2 and paid with their lives in doing so.
Sadly enough I have no pictures from inside the museum (not a good camera and dim lighting) but you can see some impressions on the website
http://www.canadamuseum.be
But I managed to make 2 good ones:
If you ever have the chance visit it. It is not the biggest museum, it even will take only a couple of hours, but it is well worth to see what gratitude means.
Some of us won't forget...
Kris

That's pretty slick thanks very much for the link. The Maple Leaf Museum looks pretty sharp as well.

Very Neat, nice to see stuff like that, I was in Northern Holland and this elderly Dutch Gentleman had a really nice collection of Canadian stuff that he kept as a personal tribute in his basement. Makes one much more appreciative of these things to see them.
