It was a good show, I had to split before the awards were announced, so I have no idea how the group did.

TankCarls Leopold was impressive, Monty's usual high quality was there. Al's and Johnny's figures, Sabot's armor. So much fine work from the group. Tuna unfortunately didn't enter.

Dave, you won about 10-15 awards. So many I stopped counting! Even William won with his Gundam. Seriously, you did win several. I recall a Gundam, pickup truck, HMMWV, M102, and the S-tank won 2. Congratulations.

JRock won 3 awards (Dragon Ferdinand, Mountain Man, Tamiya 2½ ton) and I picked up 4 awards (Berge Panther-2 awards, Airfix LCM, Airfix VW Beetle). Gian (Monte) won quite a few as did Al (who always does). I believe TankCarl pulled one in for his recovery vehicle or wrecker.

I did pretty good in the show raffle. I won the Italeri M36B1 Jackson tank destroyer, Dragon M4A3 HVSS POA-CWS-H5 flamethrower Sherman and Tamiya Marder 1A2 all for the grand price of $5 worth of tickets.

This'll be my last area show. It was good to see you guys once again.

To quote a well known US comic book... The usual gang of idiots :-) :-) :-) .

You've could easily swap the picture with one of our Benelux gang (see pictures IPMS...) :-) :-) :-) .

And... there always has to be one with a cap...

I did garner a 3rd for the M-32,but there was some great Artillery there,so Leopold didn't place.
I also had a good haul from the raffles.
I was impressed again with Al's figure work, great painting on such tiny figures.

Left to right,that's Monte,Al in back,Sabot,Johnnyboy,Marty in shadow,Me (TankCarl),and tuna and son. (++) (++)

What an excellent gathering of Armorama members.....
Looking their best, and all looking as if they had a smashing good time, and a couple of bags of goodies to boot.

As host club member, I'm glad all you guys had a good time.

Non official show totals are:

101 entrants

412 models on the table.

So far that would seem to be a Baycolony record. I'll find out the particulars this weekend.

Look forward to seeing all of you next year.

Thanks Al!

It was a pleasure having you. Although tough to put a number on, "general admission" was very high also. It seemed that for every entrant there were at least 3 general admissions.

Hope the granite comes in handy!

I had a real good time, four awards for three models and three great raffle prizes for the price of $5 worth of tickets. I may try to get back up this way for next year!

Good show Gian!

You're right on par with me. I took 4 awards for 2 models. Must be the "new math". :-)

Glad you had a great time. It's the least we could do for the awesome tank ride you gave us!

Heaven forbid!

Must've been the charming personalities and the extremely good looks that we share Charlie... :-)

Glad that all had a good time and a 'successful' day!

Armorama members must have the highest award to model ratio, I hit 6 awards on 5 models, each scored once and one twice. I still don't know how that happened. Must be the company I keep. :-) :-) :-)

Gian, great show!
Robin, it won't be that far of a drive back up this way!

Was great seeing you again. Hope to see more of you guys in the Spring and again at Baycon 2005! Although if the show gets any bigger we'll be looking for a new hall!

Thanks for posting that picture. I am going to make a point to show it my wife when I get home. The last contest we went to was so full of your "stereotypical" modelers she has be making fun of me ever since.
Hell, you guys look almost normal... :-) :-) :-)
Sounds like everyone did well and had fun. That's what it is all about.

Hey Monte, what happens when someone pulls your finger?

Dave, a 1000 mile drive will be a little too far to attend a model show.

Mary, while I don't consider myself "good-looking", I guess I was the thinnest one in the bunch (besides lil Tuna). But to be fair, my job requires it!

GOM, that bag has the third raffle prize I won for the day. The other two already went into the trunk of the car. I ended up selling it to a buddy for $5.

I am glad we got around to doing a group photo. It seems we forget at the other shows (ValleyCon, PatCon, GraniteCon).

It seems that Armorama members pulled in at least 12+ (whatever Al received) awards in one local show. Good going guys.
